Jon Steiman will be stopping by the Catonsville Cooperative Market to be discussing his new book, Grocery Story: The Promise of Food Co-ops in the Age of Grocery Giants, by New Society Publishers. We are grateful to be joined by Jon to guide us in this discussion and the discoveries he made while writing and researching his book.
Jon will have a book signing and open discussion from 4:30PM-5:30PM with a discussion of his book scheduled at 5:30PM in the IUCC Fellowship Hall during our Market. Make sure to plan your shopping trip to include this interesting evening!
“Grocery Story makes a compelling case for how food co-ops, as alternatives to corporate grocery giants, are spurring the creation of delicious local food economies and stronger communities, while changing the global food system for the better.“

WHAT IS CBD OIL?
“At CBD BioCare our CBD oil is extracted from high-CBD, non-detectable, THC medicinal hemp. Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 100 cannabinoids presently identified in the cannabis plant and is the second most abundant cannabinoid in marijuana after THC. In medicinal hemp, CBD dominates the plant’s makeup. CBD interacts with our naturally occurring systems, but it doesn’t cause a high.”
